Rattlesnakes abandon the area ?

rings Jun 08, 2014 07:59 PM

I recently found a nice "nest" of Western Daimondback rattlesnakes living in a pile of fence planks. However, I had to get to work so I had to abandon the effort to relocate them.

The problem is, they seem to have now left the area since I found them. I've dismantled the pile a few times now, and nothing.

What gives ?

Once disturbed, it's not unusual for them to find another hiding place.
