Blue Eyed Lucy/Super Mojave?

skeetdadpractica Jul 07, 2014 07:10 PM

I bought a male blue eyed leucistic ball last year. The breeder told me he was a super mojave & both parents were mojaves, but after asking around I've come to find out that if that were the case he would be pure white with shadowing at the top of his head.

I'm not sure how to attach photos, but he has a definite yellowish tint to him with light blue eyes & no shadowing on his head. I can e-mail photos. Does anyone have any idea what he could possibly be? I'm trying to sell him locally (Southern California) if anyone is interested. I paid $650 for him last year & he's grown quite a bit since then - he's a great eater.

Thanks for you help!

If he's got blue eyes, he's probably a BEL!

Super Mojaves I have seen, all have a grey/purple head.

I can't seem to figure out how to attach a photo here (there's only a place for an image URL). Any advice?
Thanks!

This is an adult BEL (Super Mojave). Notice the blue eyes and the pale purple head. Supper Lessers are also BEL's but with a clean snow white head and the trademark blue eyes.
I can provide a pic of a Super Lesser if you need one.

Close view of eyes and head.

And so to clear up any confusion, this is a head shot of an Ivory Ball. Same discolored head but with solid black eyes.
I hope this helps you identify your snake!
Good Luck
Andy
