Breeding was red albino male to red het albino female. I'm thinking my parent snakes are carrying something else but I'm not well versed in bull morphs so looking for opinions. Out of the red het albino hatchlings 2 are normal looking and 2 seem to be some type of hypo/ghost. Also one of the albino hatchlings has a bit of a faded head on her too so she may have the same thing going on. After they shed out I'll try to get better pictures.

First picture is the of the parents as yearlings, second picture is of their hatchlings. Any and all input is appreciated, thanks!

Very interesting. Looks more like something in between hypo and albino, rather than your typical hybino.

I'm taking a wild guess here.

Since Kingsville Red Bulls have been mixed with Stillwater Hypo's on more than one occasion, could this a (admittedly, quite rare) case of allelism (as in, the Hypo gene and the Albino gene sharing the same locus)?

Just a thought, for what it's worth.

Could have swore I posted this but it's not showing up. If this is a double post - apologies in advance.

The eyes of the hypo animals are normal looking, one is just more opaque with incoming shed. Jason Nelson was unaware of hypo being in this particular line but a recessive hiding out for several generations isn't all that uncommon I reckon.

One of the albino animals has a noticeable fade on it's head, I wonder if this could tell hybino from albino or maybe just typical variation in albinos? Thanks for the feedback so far.

Those are awesome babies! Its funny about hidden recessives a buddy of mine showed me a pic of these plains garters he found at work and he brought one home she gave birth there were like 22 lil normal babies and a leucistic. Little guy was so white with a very faint peach colored stripe and blue eyes and she was out the wild! I love this time of year haha its like Christmas from July to September with all the babies.
Back to your clutch man Jason's animals are some scaly jewels and I can't wait to get the one I got last yr a mate but then to raise em up and breed em in a couple years.
CONGRATS on your BABIES YOU DID A GREAT JOB!
