Faded Albino

brick1 Jul 29, 2014 05:05 PM

Ive been pretty quite on the forums lately, as have been so busy with my real job
Anyways, i decided to take some photos of another project i have been working on. The Faded Albino CRB. Im not sure i have the genetics completely figured out, that said im confident i can reproduce the trait. I have a few animals in this project that have the faded look as expected.
These are F3 animals, and the origin of the line was from an albino x a special female i have.
Once again i didnt get the photos quite right, but i think you can tell what im talking about.
Im also not sure if this faded stuff is actually desirable, i myself much prefer the bright albinos. That said, if i can isolate the fading and get it away from the albino, it may come in handy in some other colour projects, Time will tell

Pretty neat project!

I prefer the brighter albino also, but the faded look may look pretty neat with a pattern mutation... faded candy stripes!
