Bluerosy....axanthic Cal kings???

RossPadilla Sep 08, 2014 01:56 AM

Hi Rainer, you mentioned in an old post from 2005 that I just found that these axanthic Cal kings would be available in 2007, do you know what ever became of that project?

I noticed when I sent him a message on FB that I actually already sent him one a few months ago. At the time he said his dog just died and that he needed a few days. Well I guess I forgot all about it. I sent him another message yesterday and it shows he viewed it this morning, but never replied to it.

I think it might have been Max Peterson.. but not 100% sure. I sent him a PM on FB also a few days ago and before I posted here to see if it was him.. I also did not get a reply back.

Is Max Perterson a tall heavy guy? Like around 6'4 280lb?

Yeah, he looks to be about that big in his pictures. He has gray hair too. For some reason he doesn't want to talk about those snakes. Well, I feel better now knowing he didn't back to you either. lol

He still has them and has been out of breeding them for a while. I think he, like so many of us, lost interest for a little while, but says he's planning on breeding them again next year.

I had not been in touch with the owner but last time I was he said he lost the babies in an accident and was trying to reproduce them.

With a little research I can try and locate him and find out what happened. He was a big tall guy named Max from California (if that rings a bell with anybody?).His last name escapes me at the moment.

Max Peterson? There's an axanthic Yuma in Hubbs book produced by him. If you can find his contact info, could you pass it along to me or ask him for some pictures for my website?
