Update on neonate axanthics

FR Sep 11, 2014 01:46 PM

They are feeding like pigs, again I am attempting to "see" behavior, so I have half the cage, the sand that comes from where they parents occurred and half aspen. They love the sand and often sit with only their heads out. They do not use the aspen much. I now know what neonate burrows look like.
I went to the Anaheim show and picked up a couple of westerns from Dan Krull. I enjoyed meeting him and attending his talk. Not many hogs there or many sand boas. I came home with a couple of sand boas too. Cheers

Regardless of all the disagreements we have had in the past Frank; you are doing a good job. I appreciate you attempting to learn new ways to keep these guys, and congrats on proving a new mexican morph. I definitely am going to be adding some axanthics to the collection in the future. Keep it up man

Thanks Will, hopefully next year will provide better results as I adjust my husbandry. Yea, the internet is a screwy place. Words are taken differently then when face to face. I met Dan Krull at the show and I enjoyed spending time with him. Here, it was different. Anyway, back to the bush for me. Later
