Has anyone had any success with Transpecos Copperheads in October?
I need to find a mate for this guy. Any hints, pointers or locations would be appreciated. I collected one under the Lozier Canyon Bridge that resulted in a bite (not me) and one in Crockett County in Iraan, both on dirt roads in the late summer months. Is it worth the time in October to search?

Finally found a female(juvenile). She will not eat . Cooled her off for 2 months.
Attempted feeding her again. No luck. Should I turn her loose? So she won't die?
Wide open to any advice
