How small can red bellied turtles breed. We noticed tonight very strange behavior from our 1 1\2 year old red bellies that are aprox: 3.5 inches. Eventually after much enticement from the female the smaller male locked up with her. Is this normal for them to do this so young and small. They can't actually reproduce this small can they?
