Though I like all my snakes Jade here is my favorite... easily understandable since she's also the first milk snake I had. She'll be 10years old this coming October. I'm not as hopeful she'll one day break the record for size as I once was but without trying to get each and every kink out of her she measures 6'-5"... we still have a lot of years ahead of us so who knows. She's never given up her habit of chilling out in the open... makes getting pictures easy!

Looking back at the last post concerning Black Milk Snakes I can safely say she's completely black. Up until she was about 6 years old I could make out the slightest hint of bands on the subcaudals... just a tiny difference in the slate grey color... today there is nothing, just a uniform slate grey.

Anyway that's my prized little beauty... as always thanks for her Nathan.

I wish this place was more lively - Facebook seems to take its toll on the forums. While it can be handy, it just isn't a medium conducive to really educational or thought-provoking posts. This forum is way better in that regard. On that note, I've got a few things to share. I'll try to do something before the week is over.

Thanks Cole... since the last post I made of Jade I've had her on a "diet"... trying to achieve that stout look as opposed to the previous over weight look I think she had.

Sadly I have to agree with the Face Book versus forum thing... I don't indulge in any of the social media... no Twitter, no Face Book... some how though I find myself tied into LinkedIn. I've never joined it but never the less get request from folks asking me to add them to my account... go figure.

Looking forward to what post you have in mind... as for me... I think my L.t.aborma Trinity is up next... have my favorite pair, my favorite snake... Trinity though, well she's the prettiest.
