My rosy seem to go from dark, almost monopolist, to light with full stripes and patterning again. Is this caused by temp or something else?

The most obvious color change happens when a rosy is in shed. Aside from that, I have seen slight differences based on temperature and hydration (hydrated rosies look a tad lighter).
