Black Pine regurg

waterdawg Jun 21, 2015 10:28 AM

I have a 5-year old black pine who has started regurgitating every meal about 2 days after eating. In the past, it only happened twice after I fed him very large rats, which I no longer do. Now, even with small meals he's barfing. I'm not an expert, and could use any advice on how to help him.

Thanks

I'm sorry to hear that.

Reguritating can be caused by too low temperatures, handling them too soon after feeding, too large meals, unthawed meals, or some kind of illness.
Try giving him a few weeks without any meal, then feed him a very small meal, wait a week, and feed him a slightly larger meal. Hopefully the cycle will break.

Best of luck!
