Hi everyone! I'm in the Pittsburgh area and I'm actively pursuing an Iguana to adopt. If ANYBODY has any info at all as to how I would go about doing that, I would love it if you could e-mail me or post back here. Thank you SO much.

If you can make it out to the All Ohio show in Columbus there's always an iguana adpotion society with a table there.

I'm told that Pittsburgh has a herp society. Try http://www.anapsid.org to see if they're listed or if there's one closer to you. Also watch the classifieds section of any newspaper - there are always iguanas being given away.

Your best bet (I'm hoping they're on Phwyvern's list) is to contact the GREEN IQUANA SOCIETY. They specialize in adoptions and are world-wide.
