Cayman's brag

kdarci Aug 09, 2011 10:29 PM

I am beyond thrilled to announce that Cayman became a Dual Champion on Sunday in Ohio!! Cayman was BOW/WD on Thursday and Sunday, earning 2 majors to complete his show champion title. Robert graciously showed Cayman all 4 days and I simply can't thank him enough!! A mere 6 hours after finishing in the show ring, Cayman finished his field champion title! Cayman and Kaba tied for the kennel stake, and Cayman/Wink won the breeder stake.
It was an incredible National - Meredith did an amazing job putting everything together (and going out of her way to make everyone feel welcome!), the show site was fantastic, the banquet was a blast, and it was so wonderful to see everyone! I loved seeing all of Cayman's litter mates! Congrats to ALL the winners! There was some fierce competition both in the show ring and on the field.
The Triathalon was great! Thank you to Denise for showing Kaba in the conformation match after Matt refused. Denise beat me as she promised, and Kaba actually appeared happy in the ring
While Rally was a challenge...we had a lot of fun.

It was a whirlwind trip - Kaba ran 3 days ASFA before we left (earning another BIF!!) We drove straight through on the way back...getting back @ 2:30am today! I went to work despite the lack of sleep and am completely exhausted.
It was wonderful to see everyone!

Huge Congratulations Darci and DC Cayman!!! I didn't realise Denise showed Cayman and was thinking "who is that beautiful dog handled by Denise?" I was great seeing you Matt and your boys! (I hope Matt has forgiven Shiekhy)

It was good to see you and Matt again and to meet Caymen he is as sweet and good looking as his sibs

Sorry I beat you in the ring for the match portion but you can't hand me a lead and not expect me to at the very least try to win!! Thanks for the vote of confidence and allowing me to handle Kaba who proceeded to steal every single piece of food in his 3ft radius he was sweet and it was a good warm up for me as I took Jordan into the ring the next day

Glad you all made it back home safely
