Just stopping in to say hi - tried tot he other day but the forum was all messed up and kept bumping me out! What's with the grey?

Anyway Niko and Avari and doing just fine. We had some bad cases of the itchies over the summer- Niko seems to be allergic to some seasonal thing all of a sudden - so we are glad that, that is coming to an end with the colder weather. Avari's knees have been really good on the supplement that she has been on for the last couple of years.

IN other news we adopted 2 mini lop bunnies over the summer. They are kept separate from the dogs in the mud room and we rotate the buns in teh house with either the dogs in teh yard or up in our bedroom. I am shocked and amazed at how little interest the dogs have in them. Avari could care less and has zero interest in them. Niko when he finally noticed that for a couple weeks he was walking by them every day to go outside, he got all a quiver. Then over time he just lost interest all together. He just walks by the cage like it is a bookcase.

Such good dogs!

I'll browse through but - what's new with you?

Hi Lisha... good to see an old familiar face again. I'm not sure what's up with this place lately but there seems to be a lot of problems. Not much new with me though if you didn't know already I lost Keiko just over a year ago to a combination of renal failure and cancer. Beni is still going to Cornell for checkups... things are pretty status quo as far as that goes. Toshi still has her seasonal allergies as well but we get through them. Stop by a little more often will you!

Hey! It is good to see random posts, so we can all keep in touch! I like to browse everyday to see if anyone has written anything.
We had a bunny and Abbey would go crazy! She wanted that poor rabbit so badly! We had to always make sure she was outside or downstairs when we let the rabbit run. I was always so afraid someone would accidentally let her in.
Chasing bunnies was Abbey's favorite thing to do. She can still do it (she's blind) but not as well, and she runs into the fense sometimes

Lisha, it's really good to have a post from you! It's been a long time, and I've missed you. Glad to hear the shiba's are doing well, and about the bunnies. But, nothing about Gwen and Penelope......we need updates about them! I imagine they really love the bunnies!

Murphy is doing well, too. Being Murphy, and all that entails! He definitely has his own agenda's and opinions, but we seem to manage to come to agreements on most things!

Please check in with us more often. The list has dwindled and I really miss hearing from everyone!

Mom, culd we get us a bunnie? I think a bunny wuld be lots of fun!

Bob, I'm sorry to hear of your loss. But I still can't help but think how Lucky he was to have found you in the first place!

Gwen and Penny are great. Gwen is in 1st grade if you can believe that! And Penny is in preschool. I've switched job, though am still a chef, I am only working part time and much closer to home, so that is exciting!

Now a couple pics!

Lisha thanks... over a year later I still miss that little guy. I guess it was because of his story that his passing still bothers me today.

I cannot get over how big the kids are! Hard to believe we knew them from the begiining...lol! Glad to read you are still a chef... maybe we'll see you Master Chef someday... that would be better than Kitchen Nightmares! It was also good to see Miss Avari again after all of this time and also the the shot of Niko with the other dogs.

It's been great to hear from you... wish you could stop by more often. Hard to believe how slow this board has gotten with everyone gone. Still some familiar faces hanging around though and that is a good thing!

I just love all the pictures! Gwen and Penny are both beautiful and adorable. The bunnies are nothing short of elegant, and what wonderful homes they have! You could go into business, building cages! Avari looks lovely and happy. Thanks so much for sharing! Please post more often!

I can't believe how grown up Gwen is now! And Penny's has the most beautiful eyes. Great photos. . . (I love the one of Avari!)

Lisha!!! So good to "see" you. The kids are so grown up! Time really flew, didn't it? Miss Avari is as cute as ever! Now I want some bunnies. LOL
