At Saturday's Northern CA Whippet Fanciers Assoc. AKC Lure Course, Wyat took brother Evan for BOB. In the BIF run, Wyatt drew the Greyhound & Borzoi and had an oustanding run and was rewarded with the Best In Field ribbon. That boy never ceases to amaze me.

Wow he is simply amazing!!!!!! Greyhound and Borzoi, doubly impressive. What is the record for most BIFs with Pharaohs?

What is the record for most BIFs with Pharaohs?
I believe the record is allegedly held by some Pharaoh Hound name of Phorest...his owners' names escape me now.

We think Stepper had 15 BIF's between ASFA & AKC. Wyatt has 14 all-breed BIFS and I believe Phorest has 16 or 17.
That being said I've never seen a PH LCer the likes of Stepper, although Dominic's & Stephens Violet approached that level at the AKC nationals a couple of years back in NC. Best weekend performance I've ever seen of any breed & I got to run the lure for her.

Hi Greg - Thanks for the information. I knew Phorest was catching up fast but I'm mostly out of the PH information loop these days. I'm not on FB so I don't get much news any more.

Never saw Violet run but I had heard she was doing very well.

Hope you have a great Quirky Weekend - maybe you could post the results here. It's a two day drive for me now and is more expense than I want to undertake these days.

Now that we have Bill and Cynthia nearby I'm hoping the two local clubs will be "incentivized" to hold more events. We just had a regional and there's an AKC weekend coming up soon in Goodyear. It is nice to have less than an hour's drive to the fields we use here.
