On a lighter note, congrats to all the BIF winners over the holiday weekend...you too Jackson!! but on a much sadder note, I mourn the passing of my 13 year old girl Promise aka: Multi AKC/ASFA BIF DC K'Azar Phuture Promise LCM2 MC SOR. On Friday night she suffered from a massive stroke that left her unable to stand and was humanely euthanised. She became, in her retirement years, the constant companion of my daughter, Amanda, but came back to me for 'daycare' while she was at work....the best of both worlds!! I will miss her ''bitchey-ness'' but I know she is in a far better place chasing bunnies and the occasional cat who dared cross her path....sleep well old friend.

Sad news indeed Jodie. I am sorry to hear you have lost a good friend. My pack has diminished over the last few years too - but knowing they are at the Bridge, having fun and waiting for us, I hope, is a comfort for you. It is for me.

I am so sorry hear that Promise is gone. I remember her from coursing days long ago. She had wonderful heart. I'm glad you and your daughter got to share her in her retirement. My sympathy to you both.
