Yup still here. Thought maybe everyone was taking a long winters nap. Been busy lately with Christmas doings. All shopping and sending finished now. All critters here doing ok. Not really doing anything special for Christmas day, but relaxing.

What are your plans and how is everyone at your place.

Due to my disabilities, I will be staying at home on Christmas day. With my great black Standard Poodle assistance/service dog Worthy, of course. He is GREAT company! Hubby will be in and out.

Of course, weather could change that! You never know what the weather will do around here, and in winter it can always snow. One year we had a no-kidding, real-deal BLIZZARD on Christmas! Celebrations were postponed!

Wish I had some good news!
No I am not showing anymore...I had to place all of my dogs but Pandie after John's accident. We divorced sadly.
I work in an office now. Boring boring........
For sadder news....tomorrow Pandie is going to Rainbow Bridge...her health has been failing these last few months and I had to come to terms with this........I am petrified for tomorrow......
So Mary Lou never came back after Katie's passing? Does anyone know if she is alright? I think of her and Katie often, we both got our Black and White angels about 6 months apart from each other, and I feel awful for not keeping in touch.
So Gary how are you and Eloise making out?

So sorry to hear about Pandie. It is always hard to make the decision to send them to the bridge. They are family. Hang in there. I have the ashes of 3 of ours behind me in a bookcase. I still tear up about them and tell them good night every night. When I leave this earth they are going with me.

Neither Becker or Tootles are in real good health but we keep them going to the Vet. Tootles has arthritis of the spine and she isn't too perky some days but she is on meds for the pain. Becker has some hip displaysia, bouts of pancreatitis and is subject to siezures.

As for Eloise and me we are falling apart. I had radiation for prostate cancer a year ago, have congestive heart failure and my COPD is getting worse. Eloise has bad knees and has a very hard painful time getting around with a walker. So far she has resisted knee replacement but something has to be done.

Mary Lou never came back after Katies passing. Some one told me they called her and she didn't know them and she didn't know anything about the Shih Tzu forum. So I don't know how she is doing. She was the glue that held the forum together. Katie was her life so maybe she just gave up. I miss her.

Thank you guys it has been a rough couple of days I miss Pandie more than words can say. I can't really talk about it all yet, it is too fresh.
I can understand ML falling apart after losing Katie, she was her world as Pandie was mine and now I am totally alone. I wish there was some way to reach out to her........so sad.
Gary I will pray for you and Eloise you are both such awesome people.....you will surely reap your rewards in heaven.
Cheryl I suppose we each do what we can......you are a dear for helping with the rescue in the way you can.....

So sorry to hear about Pandie. I know how difficult a decision like that is. ((HUGs)

As far as MaryLou goes. She stayed around for a short time after Katie's passing and then just dropped off. I phoned her and left a message, but no call back. I wrote her and got no reply. That's all I know. I hope she is ok. If I do ever hear from her I will let you all know.

As far as my life goes boring. LOL I do some computer work with rescue groups, but that's about it. At my age computer sitting work is great.

Denice, it sure is good to see you. You seem to be the only other one left, beside myself. After Mary Lou's Katie passed everyone just seemed to fold up and leave. I think they must have found another forum in which to participate. I keep checking the list every day thinking maybe some new people will find this forum but to no avail. I miss my buddies!
