The race has become a three way one--Chewbacca (Pom) leads closely followed by Nala and Kebi is very close behind Nala while not all that far behind Chewbacca. Less than 3% of the votes separate the top 3.

Hey all - Huge thanks for those who have been diligent on a daily basis. It does appear as if you get 100 votes/day and based on how the CHOW and the POM are kicking it in - we need every vote we can get to win the cool WESTMINSTER PHOTO CHALLENGE!
Of course, big thanks to those who have even been only to cast vote - in this type of contest every single one counts in a big way.

Wow! Is this close! I just finished a voting session that put Kebi back in the lead by just 60 votes--These two dogs have 70,800 votes racked up and 60 votes separate them.

I think they are now not allowing any IP address that has ever voted to vote again. I was able to be wily and appear as a new IP address. Citrix, anyone? (hint, hint)

It appears that the votes are counted/limited within daily or 24 hr blocks. Not sure of the vote number limit but I have voted as much as 30x in one session. If and when you get "Vote not counted" .. wait a few hours or next day and go back in.

We CAN do this for Kebi.

there is something weird happening in the voting that seems a bit "fishy". Please continue your voting as I believe "honest and fair play" will pay off. And yes, 100 votes per day is allowed.. that is honest and fair. Robovoting is not allowed ... and that seems to be happening.
I do not want folks to give up as I do think that the fair and just winner will win. I have been in contact with the contest organizers who are suppposed to be calling me on this very topic. I will let everyone know when I know something ... but I would hate to lose a few days of good voting while we wait. So, ... on with the vote!!! THANK YOU ALL !! KEBI, BRUCE AND I really appreciate it ... you are ALL part of TEAM KEBI!

I have made contact with someone at MSG who is investigating the reviewing teh rules and the logging of the incessant voting of NALA and CHEWBACCA - appears to be robo-voting if you notice the pattern. I will know more tomorrow... I am really having faith the "right" thing will be done ... In the meantime, I continue to vote anyway I can... thank you for doing the same... I will share more info when I hear back from them.

Maura I think something is not right either. There is no way (IMOP) that many people would vote that much for either of those dogs. Yes the Pom is cute but Kebi is striking and beautiful. I think someone is somehow not being honest. Gotta love the dog world.

I have been able to get a voice on the phone who is helping navigate this "issue" for me. We have spoken yesterday and again today. I have pointed out the rules that define what a valid vote is, etc... and I have shown him how the reporting tools that the site provides clearly shows that NALA and CHEWBACCA do not have the highest # of votes when you remove the duplicate votes. I never have said that Kebi is my dog/photo in any of the emails or voicemails we have shared - additionally as I walk through and show him the cadence of votes and the reports that clearly show an issue, I never use Kebi as an example.
And yes, I will be speaking with them again tomorrow.
It stinks when something which started as fun turns into a game of cheating.
I am still hopeful that the "right" thing will be done ... I hope to be saying the same thing tomorrow

Hi Maura - This issue reminds me of a previous "voting marathon" we had a few years ago.

I sincerely hope the contest people get this issue resolved for you. Contests seem to bring out the best and worst in people. Let's hope the worst doesn't prevail. All breed prejudice aside (and I am as prejudiced a PH person as any) Kebi is the obvious choice for elegance, beauty, quality of photo and setting. Best wishes for a positive outcome.

Whatever happens, happens ... I LOVE that photo that my husband took and I love my Kebi with all my heart ... and we are winners everyday we all get to be together.... (yes, corny but true!)
