Hi Bob----and anyone else who may be lurking--
Things are good, here in Denver. We finally have all our snow melted, for the 2nd time since before Thanksgiving, and Murphy is just SO happy!
We hope all are well and that lots of you will check in and give us updates!
Do you other guys and gals like snow?

Anne, Bill, and Murphy

Hi All,
My Beni recently hurt his knee and has been on mat rest for a few weeks (even at his tender age of 11 he was going shiba crazy!) Kari, the queen, realized he was getting a lot of attention and miraculously started limping on the same leg that Beni injured. Once in a while she'd forget she was "hurt" and run like crazy - she is one smart girl! Well Beni is better and we are back to our walks in the beautiful 70 - 80 degree weather. That's about it on our side - just loving each other and enjoying every day....hope you all are, too!
Patty, Beni, and Kari
Patty I had to laugh at your post and Kari's antics! Shiba's can be such drama queens... as well as very smart!

That's so funny about Kari limping for attention! Glad Beni is feeling better. . .
Anne how was the weather in Denver this year as compared to past winters. It has been crazy here and I mean that in a good way! I've only used the snowblower twice and it has been relatively warm. I just hope the bottom doesn't fall out for Spring.

Our winter has been very long! Much more snow than any winter for a long time. Actually, only two or three were real deep, but it's remained so cold that it just wouldn't melt. Our yard is clear now, for the only the second time since before Thanksgiving. We've had two really warm days....over 70 today, but we are supposed to get snow tomorrow and Thursday!
Murphy had such a wonderful time today, running all around, in and out the dog door, bringing toys outside, visiting with dogs on the other side of the fence....he won't be happy in the morning. He hates snow so much! Will only travel around the edges of the yard, along the fences....no cross country skiing for him!
I don't like having wet feet!

Anne the winter here has been just the opposite... in fact the high today is 65. No snow in the immediate forecast but to keep it real... the big Blizzard of 1993 was March 12-14.
Toshi is pretty much the same as Murphy but not with snow... it's rain. She hates to get her feet wet and will travel the outer bounds of the fence line or navigate through the landscaping to avoid stepping in wet grass!
