Dr Tobin,

I never did try the liquid bandage. The instructions said nail polish remover could remove the bandage when you want it off, and I wasn't about to put nail polish remover anywhere near my dog. I've been keeping the area clean, and have been applying an anti microbial gel on the affected area. The wound is not healing, and has been oozing a little pus. Now it's even swollen around the area. Zeus still has horrible allergies during summer & spring. I don't want him to possibly lose vision or get worse. Do you think I should try a holistic home remedy, or see what his vet can do? I trust your recommendation. Thank you.

Put calendula ointment or calendula gel on the wound twice a day. This should keep it clean and bacteria free, as well as relieving itching.
