I just discovered a tumor at the lower gum line just behind the canine teeth in my 6-year old male, Keeper.

Will do surgery and hope for the best. Does anyone know if this is common in pharaohs, or have experience with it? Appreciate any answers & comments.

Not many PH people are here on Doghobbyist any longer. I suggest you go to Facebook and ask the same question in "General Pharaoh Hound Discussion" group forum.

Good luck.

It might not be a tumor. My 12 year old had a lump on the gum line and it turned out to be an abcess tooth. She had broken a tip of the tooth and the vet pointed out the tiny dark spot on the broken tip, which was the open root canal that the infection had started in. He removed the tooth, and she a round on antibiotics and is just fine.
