Well HI there. Great to see someone still checking in. Very slow Mary Lou doesn't come around anymore and no one knows what has happened to here. Do you know? Some did go over to facebook. I haven't been doing much, just same old same old. Health ok and doing fine.

How are you all and what have you been doing?

Well..things aren't so good for me. My husband was diagnosed with kidney cancer last september that has spread EVERYWHERE, there is no cure for kidney cancer and surgery is not an option either My mother was diagnosed with lung cancer in febuary and passed away june 6th Just feeling very stressed and wanted to talk.. I am so thankful that I have my Sissy...she brings me so much comfort. I too am wondering about Mary Lou, if you hear anything please let me know. So glad you are doing good.

Oh Chris so sad to hear about your Husband. I will of course keep him and your Mother in my prayers.

Sissy may be a dog, but I believe they can help in many ways to comfort you. My dogs and cats over the years have had their share of tears from me and it helped I think. Your are never alone.

As far as MaryLou goes none on the board have heard of her, but if we do we will post.

Take care and come around more often.

I'm still around but the board has collapsed since Katie passed and Mary Lou left. How are you and Sissy doing?
tootles was sick the week before last and then Becker got sick with his pancreatitus last week and has not bounced back like he should. Just hope he is not in any danger. Will take him back to the Vet if no improvement. Good to see there is some one still out there watching the board.

I am not very good..have lost my mother to lung cancer and am afraid I am going to lose my husband to kidney cancer soon..I am very stressed..Sissy is great!! I am so thankful for her..she helps me thru everyday.

And some people call them Just Dogs. They have helped me on more than one occasion get through times.

Sorry to hear the bad news. Trust in God and Sissy will help you. Tzus are such great little dogs. Keep the faith and your chin up my friend and neighbor to the north.

This past May 19 was my one year anniversery of my last radiation treatment for prostate cancer. So far things have looked OK until my last PSA and it had elevated some. My COPD is getting worse as well. At 77 years old I try to just accept things as they are and not worry too much about them. I have more years of life behind me than I have in front of me. I too will pass.

Sally, so good to see you and Trudy again..She is still so gorgeous. Little Maria will be 14 in Nov. but she is doing fine. I have missed all of you so much and just now found you agin. Please do you know anything about Mary Lou? We were e-mailing a lot and all of a sudden she stopped. I've been worried sick about her..Thanks..Sue

Cheryl, thank you for answering. I went back and read some of Skakett's posts and it just makes me weep. We loved the Katie stories and her funny photos. ML had a way with that camera and Katie was such a good and funny subject. I suppose the loss of Katie was just too much for her to deal with. I do pray she is ok. We loved them both.. We went to the Cape from TN to meet ML and Katie and had such a great time at the cottage and the ocean.

We called too..One day one of the girls called and someone answered but didn't seem to know who we were or anything about the Shih Tzu Village we belonged to. We never did know the name of any family and only one friend but didn't know how to reach her. ML came on the village to tell us she had found Katie dead in bed but that was days after the fact, then we never heard again.
