First I took Toshi to the vet yesterday for a post surgery checkup. It's been 6 weeks since the surgery and 4 weeks since the sutures were removed from her acl. My vet thought everything was progressing well. She estimated that Toshi was 90% weight bearing on the leg. She also did some twisting and moving of the knee joint and said it was looking pretty good. The downside is we are still on strict r&r. She needs to remain confined when we aren't home and when we are she isn't allowed out on her own. She is on strict leash walks though my vet said she can go on a little longer walks. Right now she was only going for short potty breaks. We still need to take it easy though.

Also I took Beni today for his eye checkup and everything went well. There were no corneal abrasions and he did really well on the tear test. Best of all his pressure measured out at 8 which I was real happy with. As long as things stay status quo his next appointment will be in December.

Glad to hear Toshi is on the mend....must be hard to keep her so quiet, though! Great news about Beni!!!

Glad that Toshi is healing. Crate rest though is no fun for anyone. Hopefully that restriction can be lifted soon.

Also glad that Beni continues to hold his own with his glaucoma. You have done amazing keeping that under control for so long.
