stagedoor13 Dec 10, 2012 10:12 AM

I have a 9 year old shih tsu that has a bad yeast problem in his ears and on his paws. I am looking for information on a good probiotic to give him. Any ideas?

thanks...mary

Any live-culture yogurt will help. I would also suggest soaking his feet and infusing into his ears, vinegar with water in a 1;1 solution. Soak for 15 minutes.

Thank you - I am currently giving him about a tablespoon of yogurt in the morning with his food - should I increase it? Is there a pill or other supplemnt I can give him that would pack a bigger punch? He is about 18 pounds.
