We are going to be adding a new pup, possibly this weekend! After much family discussion, spending time with Brewster and pups to make sure he can still behave around them (haha), asking around for breeder references, interviewing and being interviewed by a few breeders, talking to a few trainers and dog gyms, and thoroughly picking Michelle's brain (thanks again, btw!!!), we decided to move forward and we have found a pup at a breeder in South Carolina. She is about 11 weeks old. I am flying down there this weekend. I rented a car so that I can drive to the breeder's house to meet them and their dogs, and make sure everything is kosher before we finalize. I expect everything will be because I know of a few people who have their dogs and speak very highly of them. If all goes well I will fly home with our new girl Sunday night. We are naming her Piper. I need to think of a fancier registration name. I was thinking "(Breeder Name)'s Sweet Carolina" (like Sweet Caroline), but the kids are set on Piper, and I like it, too.
