New member, vet bill help?

Meparker2 Jun 28, 2015 09:18 PM

My name is Maryanne. I have a redbone pitbull, his name is Tornado and he'll be 7 in October. He is my fur baby and I am 100% a crazy dog mom. Tornado was abandoned when he was about 1 or 2 years old by a drug addict. My boyfriend and his brother found him and saved him. My boyfriend adopted him and has been here ever since. I've been dating/living here for two years. Unfortunately he did not grow up taking care of dogs or anything so, some things were neglected getting nato (nickname) back to health. Now he has some serious dental problems and we're going to the vet on Tuesday 6/30/15 and I know it's going to rack up some bills. I've been trying my best to give him everything he needs and took over taking care of him because I did have animals growing up but I can only do so much.

My question is does anyone know of anything besides care credit that will help with vet bills and surgeries because I am trying my best to just feed us and pay all my bills just like everyone else.

I've heard so many times "you shouldn't have a pet if you can't afford it" I'm not going to put down my boyfriend for taking in a dog so he wouldn't get put down and did the best he could I actually made a go fund me account too to try and get donations to help but you can only annoy people so much lol

Thanks.

Life happens. Reach out to local shelters and rescues and see if they offer low cost options or know of one in your area
