green water and algae

ccrane11 Jun 24, 2005 04:11 PM

My pond has one gold fish and one koi. My problem is I can't get rid of algae and green water. The fish seem to feed on the algae.
Is this water safe for the fish? The pond is well filtered with a fountain.

Does the pond get a lot of sunlight? You can try a UV sterilzer

I DON'T LIKE TO USE CHEMICALS U MIGHT TRY A UV STERILIZER OR DO U HAVE ANY PLANTS? U COULD ADD SOME OF THOSE THEY HELP ALOT TO BALANCE OUT THE POND.
