GALVINIZED CATTLE FEED TROUGH

kmwgrey Jan 04, 2006 03:37 PM

Has anyone used a feed trough for a small fish garden pond in your yard. If so what do you have to do. Do I need to have a liner I am going to build up around it to make a water fall into it.
My Mother just passed away and I want to make a special garden
were I can go to be very peaceful and plant all my Mom's favorite flowers. My yard is unable to be dug up due to rocks
and gas and water and sewage lines every where.
Please Help out I live in Zone 5

I've been using a metal stock tank for close to 5 yrs. Love it. It's 120 gallon tank and I keep 7 goldfish in it. I was nervous at first, but now I wouldn't use anything else. It's got plenty of surface area compared to depth of tank; very important for goldfish. I keep it inside the house though. Soon, I'm going to upgrade and get a 250 gallon; yep, going to keep it inside too.

I sealed the valve with silicon; never had a problem with rust or leaking. I've enjoyed decorating around the tank. It's my indoor pond.

To avoid floating issues, keep water table low.
