Heard of a small breed of koi

Hey I was woundering if there is such a thing as a small breed of koi that dont really get big? I dont know if theyre is such a thing but heard about it in the betta forum and kinda got me interested about it. Thanks in advance for all the help.

Urban myth perhaps? More likely, those 'miniture koi' that are advertised are merely stunted koi. Koi that are kept in small confines.

You can keep males at a smaller size in a smaller pond - pond volume and stocking rate are factors in the growth rate and limitations thereof.
