Arthur Aquatics Koi Food?

juaru5 May 14, 2007 04:27 PM

Hello All.

This is my first post, so welcome to me! Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has tried arthuraquatics.com koi food. I just have plain old koi and am not real picky about food, but this food seems really cheap. Is it O.K?

Thanks,

Dave J

I registered just so I could reply to this and warn you of the aforementioned advertisement. I purchased some of their "food" on eBay from their seller name jonrocketshop. It was total garbage, and I would not recommend feeding it to any breathing animal. Many of my fish became ill from it, and I lost a few of them. I think it was rabbit food they sold as fish food. Stay away from arthur aquatics if you want to keep your fish. I don't think they know anything about koi.

I tried this food last summer and it's total garbage. The waste left over was terrible, and made my pond filthy. Several of my fish became bloated and i was forced to quarantine them. I thought i was going to lose them. I promptly disposed of the "food" in the garbage and bought good koi food from another bulk vendor.
My strong advice is to stay away from this food.
