black africanus bubblelipticus?

i was in the pet store the other day and i asked the owner if monkeys are legal in new york city. he told me the only monkeys that are allowed in new york city are " africaus bubblelipticus" but i looked all over online and i cant seem to find any.does anyone know who breeds these? i dont want a wild caught animal. thanks.

I have never heard of such a thing. I can not even think of a species name that even resembles this. I think the pet store owner might be trying to fool you.
