Monday I cleaned out my aquatic turtle tanks.
That utility table I bought to put the rat cages on is so big that I have room to put a turtle on it when one of the turtles is out of his big tank waiting to go back.

I had the painted turtle in the critter keeper on the rat table and then I started netting the minnows out of his tank & into the critter keeper.
One jumped out of the net & landed right in front of Reba Ratentire's sleeping face. I didn't even have time to get the door open when she woke up & saw that thing flopping in front of her then she grabbed it & ate it LOL!!!
All the other rats ran over & stared at me like hey where's MINE???
Oh man... cracked me up.
The food I feed the rats has fish protein in it as the meat source so... oh well...

LOL the whole episode was so hilarious!
I didn't even have time to get a camera from the other room, I didn't have time to get that door opened.
I look at it this way, we all know that fish oils have those omega fatty acids, it's health food for Reba LOL

Fresh sushi? Your rats ARE spoiled! lol

My 1 1/2 year old son almost drank my firebellied newt today. He wanted to see him in the cup I was keeping him in while I cleaned the tank. Before I knew what happened, he pulled the cup from my hands and took a sip!

Ewwwww I don't know which is worse, newt water or whole living fish! LOL
