Hey all I'm getting a New rat Monday night when I get off of work. the Idea was origanlly Brought up to me when I stopped by my vets office a few weeks ago. one of the pet stores brought a 4 mo old Rat in to be PTS because he had a tumor on his Foot. the Recptionist talked them into signing him over if they would keep him as a mascot. needless to say they Decided he needed a buddy. and Since Champange hasn't had a buddy since Lee Died they mentioned that they would be a good pair.

First he was going to have his whole leg amputated turns out he only need to have a toe done. he has healed up nicely and is ready for his new home. he is so Friendly I will Post some pics of Rodney when I get them

So nice to know of someone who will take in and love an imperfect rattie. I have done so before and it's been wonderful. Here they were going to P him TS and now he's going to get a great life with another lonely rattie guy. CongRATSulations on your new boy!!
And I'm grateful that you're taking this little guy; he needs you.

Rodney came Home last night. settled right in and as soon as I put him in his Cage Champange came over and was checking him out She was so HAPPY to have a buddy again. I can't Wait too get him neutered so they two of them can play and MAybe if all goes well Share a cage. If it wasn't For the Fact that I know he lost a toe you would never know it.
