No, according to liveaquaria.com (they have a compatibility chart).

Yeah i saw the chart but i was wondering if anyone here had tried it. I stopped to see a friend of mine yesterday and she was in the middle of cleaning the couple hundred cages in her store and she was showing me the difference in how clean a cage is with or without a gobie. They make a huge difference! If i put the gobie in first would it make a difference? I just saw that the tanks with gobies hardly needed cleaned at all so i wanted to see if it was worth trying

Lionfish eat smaller fish. I wouldn't advise it.

If i get the lionfish when it's small and the gobie is to big for it to eat will it get used to it and and not eat it when it gets bigger?

I highly doubt it.
