setting up a marineland(?) skimmer

pnicoll Mar 31, 2010 10:45 AM

A large protein skimmer was given to me, with a small refugium. My 125g tank could really use it, but I don't have any directions on how to get it set up. The only name I can find on the skimmer is on the power cord which has a Marineland name and number on it. I need help. I can try to take a picture of it and post it, but I am new to the forum and am not sure how to do that yet.

I would try going to the MarineLand website and typing the number of the skimmer in or try to google search it. If you would like help finding it, you can post it and I will help. I don't know much about SW tanks... only what I can find on the net about a particular topic (as I don't own nor have ever owned a SW tank).

If you would like to post a picture, you can do so by uploading it to a photobucket/flickr/ or like website (there are quite a few)... they have an option for posting the URL to a website... you can copy and paste that on to our "Image URL" space. Or if that doesn't work or you would like to try another method... you can upload your picture to our photo gallery (via the Photo Gallery tab at the top of the site, then you can login in and upload to a specific category... then it should be under the photos option when you go to post a message say on the SW: filtration & water quality forum). If you would like more detailed explanations for either option, please let me know.
