That's odd. Are you sure it's throwing up? Is there any food left in the tank that it might be eating and then spitting out?

Ya im sure. i feed him and sit there so i know what is beening eatten and he hold most his food down for about a day then it come back up.
Has he been pooping? Or just throwing up? If he hasn't been pooping, you can try some frozen peas. That will give him some fiber to help get things moving.
Let me know how that works. I've been trying to research to see what's going on, with no luck yet. It could be similar to what happens with humans though... so if the peas help him at all, that would be a good thing. You can cut the peas into small pieces if you'd like, but it's not necessary. I really hope this helps.

I have seen him poop. but when i got home from work today he was dead
had all the water tested and everything checked out ok so not really sure what happened. He was 5 years old and about 37 inches may he r.i.p thank for all your help just could not find out the problem soon enough.
I'm sorry for your loss. It's just odd that he was throwing up. I don't know of any diseases that would make him throw up.
Just remember, you provided him the best home for 5 years, and I'm sure he loved every day (up until he was sick).
