What are the advantages of an underground filter? Do you still need a regular hang-on-the-side-of-the-tank as well? Does it have to be dug up and changed ever?
I don't really see any advantages to an underground filter. You still need the hanging filter and you do have to remove it to get rid of the build up under the filter. You can get other people's opinions though. I have never had an underground filter.
