Hello
i had recently bought a betta to my guppy and tetra tank from a local pet store. when i put him into the tank, he harrassed and attacked the other fish and even killed a smaller guppy!
one of my friends said that they had kept their beta in their baby cichlid tank. so i put him in with my baby cichlids. for the first week or so he bullied my cichlids.
one day i came home and he was badly injured, his tail and fins were ripped.
i put him in a vase by himself and its been about two weeks now. hes doing a lot better! his fins are not all the way grown in and seems like they arent going to heal anymore.
will his tail and fins grow back all the way ever? or will it stay small for the rest of his life?

Hi.
Bettas should be kept in a tank by themselves. They are very aggressive, as are cichlids.
If the damage wasn't too bad, then they will grow back. I would put some Melafix in there with him to prevent any infections.
