Anyone ever have a siamese fish? One of my guppies had babies about 2 weeks ago..at first I though one of the babies still had the yolk attached as happens..however now that it's bigger I see that it's a siamese...one "regular" baby and it has a very smaller twin (about a quarter size)...the twin is attched to the regular one (think belly to belly). I don't see a tail on it but definately a body, head, and eyes..wish I could get a pic but they are so small that it's impossible.

I've never had this, but have seem many posts on the subject. In all cases that I have seen, either one of the 2 dies, or both die, sorry. Fish seem to be unable to supply both fish adequately for both to survive...

oh if it dies that's okay..honestly she has babies every 3 weeks so I have to sell, give away, or otherwise get rid of them otherwise i'd be up to my eyeballs in guppies..but I just thought it was kinda wierd b/c I've never seen/heard this...naturally it's unique enough that if it somehow survives I'll be keeping it.

Well my siamese fish is still going. Definately alot smaller than the the other babies it's age in the tank though. The attached fish has grown some as well. Definate has a head/body, not much of a tail though...and 1 side fin that I see moving as the main fish swims. Still can't get a pic yet though.

That's a good thing (it's still going). Keep up the good work.

Well the fish is still alive and getting bigger although still very very small for it's age/siblings. But....still alive and showing no ill signs...Hopefully it will keep thriving and eventually get big enough so i can get a decent pic
