paid $18 for a mislabeld gold nugget

i went to the pet store today and the had what was labeld as a vampire pleco for 18 bucks, it had just arrived and was still bagged, so in exitement i got it. as soon as i had it in my tank i realized it was acyualy a gold nugget.

did i over pay or under pay?

Congrats! You got an awesome deal. On liveaquaria.com, gold nuggets sell for $52. Beautiful specimens too.

the gn died the night i got it (possibly due to the fact that i didnt let him acclimate long enough because i wanted to see it becuase i wanted to see if it was actualy a vamp.)

it was only 2" so i think i paid a reasonable amount compared to others ive seen

i have a real vampire now, a nice big one i paid $35 for and im in LOVE!

2" spotted cory
lots of guppies for t.natans food
