help with new betta!

i recently got a new betta fish hes a red male mabye 2.1/2 3inches hes healthy but not as active as my other betta he will come greet me and swim around when he sees me but when he dosent see me he either sleeps or swims around lazily. is there something wrong or is this just his personailty please help

It seems to me that he's just being a normal betta. If you start to see differences in behavior such as not eating, not swimming at all, etc. then there could be a problem. Also, if he's not pooping that is also a problem. If he has trouble swimming, that's a problem.

Sometimes when you feed a different food the fish can get indigestion,so you could skip 1 day feeding or feed less (what are you feeding him now?)how long have you had him
