goldfish, anchor worm and salt treatment

sandytini Oct 15, 2010 11:45 PM

I have an oranda who is the coolest fish EVER. moved from ohio to az with me and did great. I looked at him today and he had 3 anchor worms on him...i see him everyday and he has never had anything wrong. i removed them like every website told me to and gave him a salt dip at 1tsp to 1gallon for 3 minutes.I SCRUBBED his tank and put him back in after his salt dip. Im still not convinced everything is ok. Should i add salt to his tank? should i dip him again in another tank?

You can add salt to his tank. 1 teaspoon/ 5 gallons should help. Keep an eye on him, and keep us posted.
