Hey everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm PHStorme, the new Hermit Crab Forum host. I don't currently own any hermit crabs, but I have owned several in the past.. and we'll probably be getting more again shortly.

Currently, we have 2 dogs, a quaker parrot, 2 leopard geckos, a box turtle, and an oscar. We do foster care for the local animal shelter, so we've constantly got animals of all shapes and sizes coming in and out.

I look forward to "meeting" you all. How about indroducing yourselves?

How many hermit crabs do you currently have?
How long have you owned them?
Do you have any other pets?
Whatever else you feel like sharing

Hi PHStorme. Just wanted to be the first on our boards to officially welcome you to the Aquaria boards. YAY!

PHStorme already knows, but I'm the moderator for the Aquaria boards, and am very excited to be here.
I have no hermit crabs, but I do have 5 leopard geckos and 7 parakeets currently. I am impatiently awaiting to get a house to get some huge fish tanks. Fish are my main love, but inverts are cool too. I worked with oysters for about 5 months so...

Again, welcome to the boards. I'm glad to have you here.

Yeah, oysters. I don't eat seafood so it was an easy subject matter. I worked on enhancing oyster recruitment so that people can still harvest oysters without any damage to the natural habitat. However, more research is needed to show any important results.
