I was going to buy the Fluval 205 but was told to get the series 5. I went to get it but didn't see anything on the box that said series 5. Is there a way to tell the old one from the newer one?
Also I was going to set it in a rubbermaid container in case of a leak.Does anyone else do something like this? I don't want to come home and fimd water all over the floor.

Answering my own question, the difference is the 5 at the end. The earlier series ended in 3 and then the next model ended in 4 and now 5.
Thought I would post for any rookies like myself.
