I saw Sugar sitting in the water today

Her and CJ spent all day in the nesting box. They took turns. In the evening they come out though. I haven't seen any breeding going on today but we left for a little while. So maybe they sneeked one in on us lol. I covered the side of the cage with a baby blanket. CJ was climbing all over the side of the cage trying to see out. So I raised the blanket and he was like well happy to see me almost but he know I feed him to. No squaking so far but they are both out of the nesting box. Silly little fella. He does his squaking when Sugar is in the nesting box.

The worst thing is that even when having two males or two females housed in the same cage they will still go through the breeding motions, LOL! We usually don't house opposite sexes together to curb breeding but the males or females will still be going through the motions. Supposedly not only is a mating behavior but also a dominance issue and lastly a companionship thing between even birds of the same sex.
