Albino's and pink feet question

limpyduckling Mar 26, 2008 10:03 PM

As a albino cockateil ages do they keep their pink feet. My albino was rescued out of a school yard. Someone took her to the petshop where I bought her. I'm not sure of her age but she looks young to me byl her pink around her beek and on her feet. I was wondering as they age do their feet turn gray or stay pink.

Well I can't say for sure on all of them but we had one that still had the pink feet after it was 12 years old (had vet and hatch records to prove age). The person who adopted it still sends regular photos and seems to still have pink feet and is now around 14 years old.

So my guess is that they do keep their pink feet but that is the only one we have dealt with, having that color variation.
