Hey guys. Some how, my 4 year old blue and gold fell off of his swing. He bit his tounge-it was bleeding. what can I do for him? He seems to be fine. kinda scared, but fine. any ideas? Thanks!

Hey guys. Some how, my 4 year old blue and gold fell off of his swing. He bit his tounge-it was bleeding. what can I do for him? He seems to be fine. kinda scared, but fine. any ideas? Thanks!
Watch the bleeding to make sure it stops. Since it is on the tongue you shouldn't use any of the stop bleeding remedies for nails etc. If the bleeding doesn't stop or if your B&G seems to have any trouble eating please see a vet immediately. Otherwise depending on what your blue and gold usually eats you might try adding a bit of softer foods in for the next few days until the tongue is fully healed. Birdie muffins, cooked and cooled sweet potato, any mashes etc might be a good choice.
