Hi! Congrats on your new budgies. Or at least I am guessing congrats are in order if the many new offspring are what you were hoping for or had planned
It sounds like you will have your hands full either in caretaking or finding new homes. Post pictures we would all love to see them.
It was more a surprise than anything. We had one pair that had hatched out two in February and did a good job raising them. I never expected the other two pairs to produce fertile eggs or to succeed in hatching them.
So far, they are all doing a good job of raising their chicks.
(We have potential homes for 6 of the 9 so it won't be so bad.)
