Peakin Duck as a pet

fivesapps Apr 03, 2009 05:43 PM

Trying to decide if my family should get a pet duck. One website says never get just one. Another says one will be fine. Which is it? I get the impression that the more interaction they have with humans the happier and more a part of the family they become but they are not indoor pets. I know its a messy job from all I've read but worth it. Just want someone with some experiences perspective.

You need at least two. Although they will interact with people fine, they need their own kind as well. If not, they can become depressed. They can be kept indoors but they are VERY messy and can smell.
