removing mud...

Any tips on removing mud from a horse? I can't bathe her because of the cold temperatures. Maybe just use a metal curry?

We use rubber curries here, and a stiff brush. I prefer rubber to the metal ones simply because I can scrub harder and use it on more areas of the horse without hurting them.

Another thing you can do is "bathe" her using hot, wet towels on one section at a time, and dry each section with dry towels as you go.

Good luck!

Hi there

Sorry to be so slow giving my 2-cents worth here... but .. how about vacuuming the horse? It works well here and I use a curry attachment on the end to help massage and raise the dirt and hair as we go. Of course, right now, with the hair shedding going so strong, I sometimes have to stop and clean out the hose, but it does a good cleaning.

Mud season is passing here.. now it's a bit dry and dusty. Hooray for Spring!!
